IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTICE: Voluntary Product Recall

Drinkmate 1L PET Bottles - Immediate Action Required

Dear Valued Customers,

Out of an abundance of caution and our unwavering commitment to your safety, we are voluntarily recalling certain Drinkmate 1L PET bottles manufactured with expiration dates from January 2026 (01/26) through October 2026 (10/26).


Why This Recall Is Necessary

We have identified that bottles within this date range may be susceptible to over-pressurization over time, which could potentially result in bottle breakage. Your safety is our top priority, and we are taking immediate preventive action.


What You Need to Do RIGHT NOW

Step 1: Check Your Bottles

Locate the expiration date printed on the side of your 1L bottle(s)

Step 2: Stop Use Immediately

If your bottle shows an expiration date between 01/26 and 10/26:

  • STOP using the bottle immediately
  • Do not carbonate or pressurise the bottle

Step 3: Safe Disposal

  • Safely dispose of the bottle through recycling or regular waste disposal
  • You may keep the bottle base and lid - these components are not affected by the recall and may be useful if we are unable to replace the bottle with your desired colour.

Step 4: Request Your Free Replacement

Complete our simple replacement request form (link below)

  • Once submitted, we will process your replacement order within a few days.
  • Feel free to add additional items to the order.
  • All shipping costs are covered by Drinkmate

Reason the product is recalled

The affected PET bottle may over-pressure and explode during use.

The hazards to consumers

Risk of injury including abrasions and hearing damage if the bottle explodes.
